Recommended vaccines

Universal vaccines (DTCP, hepatitis B), typhoid fever, hepatitis A, and Japanese encephalitis.

Vaccines against typhoid fever and viral hepatitis A and B, depending on the conditions of your trip.

Rabies vaccines, highly recommended in Vietnam, especially for planned trips to remote rural areas.

Japanese encephalitis vaccines are desirable for stays in rural areas. However, this being transmitted by mosquito bites, it is better to take precautions.

To avoid the risk of illness:

Do not approach stray animals and avoid petting them.

Ensure road safety (wearing a seat belt, wearing a helmet on two wheels).

Avoid consuming drugs bought on the street.
